Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, lived a young two spirit, TR Hoody, and their trusty feline traveling 🧳 companion, Dewey the library 📚 cat 🐱.

TR and Dewey lived with their aunt Jill and Uncle Joe in a small, white-shingled cottage located in a vast wetlands called Pantano Place. Jill and Joe called their modest little home La Casa Blanca. They had built it lovingly over the course of many hard years of work. It had wind turbines on the roof and solar panels and battery storage banks sufficient to power their energy efficient home through all seasons of the year. It rained often in Pantano Place, and the weather could at times be quite extreme. In the summer, the heat and humidity made life difficult to bear, but Jill and Joe were tough, resilient people and imparted this same strength and stamina to their adopted teenage child, TR.

TR had been orphaned by her biological parents at an early age, who died together in a tragic boating accident, from which TR escaped with only minor physical but lasting mental injuries…
